This document declares the undertakings by EducatorPages.com in relation to its definition and handling of Spam.

What is Spam?

In electronic messaging, Spam refers to unsolicited, indiscriminate messages, typically sent for a commercial purpose. Spam messaging includes content posted to the EducatorPages.com web site, and information sent via electronic messaging. Examples include but are not limited to: misleading commercial messaging, pornography, phishing attempts, malware, gibberish, or content which otherwise does not suit the intention and mission of EducatorPages.com.

EducatorPages.com has a strict Anti-Spam policy. We hate Spam as much as you do.

User-Created Spam

EducatorPages.com provides a facility allowing users to create content which is publically available to site visitors. In line with our strict Anti-Spam policy, users posting content deemed Spam at the discretion of EducatorPages.com staff will have all content purged from their accounts without refund of any payment made to EducatorPages.com.

Incoming Messages Spam Filtering

Our email servers automatically scan all incoming email messages, and filter-out those that appear to be Spam. Likewise, content posted by users to EducatorPages.com are filtered for Spam, either by internal or third-party services, or manually by humans.

Problems with Spam Filtering

False positives may occur in the Spam filtering process, and likewise occasionally legitimate Spam content is overlooked. We do our best to ensure that only Spam content is treated as Spam and when detected, removed from the site.

Changes to this Policy
